Hiring: Construction Superintendent (Piping)
Location: Sohar, Oman
Work Schedule & Setup
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent (Piping) to lead and manage piping fabrication and erection activities for offshore structures. The role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of CP Topsides piping scopes, aligning with project schedules and HSE standards.

Work Schedule & Setup
- ✅ 100% Onshore
- 🔄 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
- 📅 6 Days/Week
- ⏱ 8–10 Hours/Day
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent (Piping) to lead and manage piping fabrication and erection activities for offshore structures. The role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of CP Topsides piping scopes, aligning with project schedules and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols and safety regulations
- ✅ Plan and manage piping fabrication, installation, and completion activities
- ✅ Supervise contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specs & international standards
- ✅ Review engineering deliverables for constructability and clash resolution
- ✅ Ensure proper spool fabrication sequencing and installation planning
- ✅ Oversee mechanical completion, pre-commissioning & commissioning activities
- ✅ Monitor progress and identify risks, delays, and quality issues
- ✅ Ensure piping preservation as per approved specifications
- ✅ Conduct site coordination, toolbox talks (TBT), and risk assessments
- ✅ Maintain complete documentation including as-built and commissioning dossiers
- 🎓 Diploma in Engineering
- 🛢 Minimum 8+ years experience in piping supervision (offshore/topsides projects)
- 👷 Strong experience in fabrication yards and piping installation
- 🌍 Experience working with multinational teams
- Expertise in spool fabrication, installation, and piping completions
- Experience with GRE, carbon steel, exotic materials, and CRA clad piping
- Knowledge of hydrotesting, flushing, drying, reinstatement & flange management
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills
- Knowledge of LNG / sour gas project execution risks
