The MOC Administrator is responsible for providing coordination, document control, and quality control of company management of change (MOC) process for the Conventional Oil and Gas assets.
MOC Process
• Conduct independent quality control reviews of engineering work packages (EWPs) from both internal and external EP engineering teams to ensure all documentation and requirements are in place
• Maintain facility engineering projects repository in content server
• Coordinate the flow of engineering documentation between field/central engineering, EPs, and field execution teams
• Assist in QC & process project change management requests (RFI/FCN/Re-IFC)
• Manage deficiencies in a tracking log
• Support process KPI tracking by capturing project details in SAP detailing key dates
• Interface with construction, maintenance, and document management teams to track and ensure timely MOC turnover/completion
• Provide MOC process support to engineering, construction, and operations groups as process and SAP application SME
• Maintain project tracking tools & team SharePoint pages
• Propose improvements to the facility engineering MOC process, documentation management, and tracking tools
• Support draft engineering work packages for recurring changes
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Discipline, or equivalent experience in oil and gas operations.
Skills & Competencies
• 5–10 years of experience in oil and gas production, maintenance, or engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with MOC processes in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of process safety and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in SAP systems, data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple MOCs and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation (P&IDs, loop diagrams, equipment datasheets).
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to oil and gas operations.
