Contract Procurement Support Analysis

This role is a Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operations function focused on:
  • Managing end-to-end procurement execution (~$42B spend, 22,000+ suppliers)
  • Driving operational efficiency, compliance, and automation
  • Improving procurement performance through KPIs, analytics, and process excellence
  • Collaborating across business, finance, AP, and suppliers
Key Responsibilities (Structured)
  1. Operational Procurement Execution
  • Manage Source-to-Pay activities (PR → PO → Payment)
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, pricing, delivery
  • Support timely procurement and supplier payments
  1. Performance & KPI Management
  • Track and drive procurement KPIs (MSC, performance metrics)
  • Ensure process sustainability and standardization
  • Take corrective actions (coaching, escalation)
  1. Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Build business cases using data insights
  • Maximize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
  1. Supplier & Commercial Management
  • Rationalize supplier base
  • Drive optimal buying channels
  • Explore regional/cross-country sourcing opportunities
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with: Business users, Finance & AP, Suppliers
  • Resolve escalations effectively
  1. Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure alignment with: Ethics & Compliance, Shell Control Framework
  • Maintain audit-ready procurement practices
Key Skills & Competencies Technical / Functional:
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Procurement & supply chain
    • Materials, commodities, spare parts
  • ERP tools (SAP, Ariba) knowledge
  • Data analysis & insight generation
