Location: Doha / Ras Laffan, Qatar
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract
Project: Restoration Project
Work Type: 100% Onshore
Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
Working Days: 6 Days per Week
Working Hours: 8–10 Hours per Day
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Lead to manage contract administration, commercial management, claims, change orders, and dispute resolution activities for a major Restoration Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting Company interests, ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating commercial risks, and supporting project delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
✅ Advise Project Management Teams on contractual and commercial matters.
✅ Review contractor correspondence, notices, claims, and variation requests.
✅ Support negotiations for contract amendments, settlements, and change orders.
✅ Evaluate commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
✅ Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, and Project stakeholders.
✅ Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
✅ Maintain contract registers, commercial records, and reporting tools.
✅ Support dispute avoidance and dispute resolution processes.
✅ Prepare contractual reports, presentations, and commercial recommendations.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Supply Chain, Project Management, Accounting, Commercial, or related discipline.
✔ Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts/commercial management.
✔ Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
✔ Experience managing EPC/EPCM contracts.
