Contracts/ Procurement Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement / Contracts Specialist to join a major resources project team on a 12-month contract based in the Adelaide CBD. This role sits within the project commercial function, supporting procurement and contract management activities across the full project lifecycle.

This position will suit someone with both pre-award and post-award contract experience, who is comfortable working closely with commercial, project delivery, and supplier teams in a large-scale project environment. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities across project packages
  • Support tendering and sourcing activities, including RFx development, bid evaluation, and supplier engagement
  • Lead contract award and negotiation processes in collaboration with commercial and project teams
  • Provide post-award contract management, including variations, claims support, and supplier performance
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure commercial compliance and governance
  • Support the full lifecycle commercial management of project contracts from sourcing through to delivery
About You
  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management within major project environments
  • Exposure to both pre-award (tendering, sourcing, negotiation) and post-award (contract management, variations, claims)
  • Background working within resources, infrastructure, engineering, or major capital projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work across commercial and project delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of contracting principles and commercial governance
