Crisis & Continuity Management Advisor
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (possibility to extension)
Rate: $55-$60 per hour
Travel: Offshore (25%)

We are seeking a highly capable Crisis & Continuity Management Advisor to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of crisis management and emergency response programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring organizational preparedness, resilience, and regulatory compliance across operational environments.

Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Crisis & Continuity Management Advisor to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of crisis management and emergency response programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring organizational preparedness, resilience, and regulatory compliance across operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, maintenance, and execution of Crisis & Continuity Management (CCM) and Emergency Response (ER) programs
- Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of emergency response plans, procedures, and systems
- Assist in the delivery of training programs, drills, and exercises to enhance organizational readiness
- Ensure alignment with internal standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across crisis and continuity frameworks
- Support both onshore and offshore operations, including participation in operational readiness activities
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety Administration, or a related field
OR - Minimum 3+ years of experience in emergency management, crisis response, or a related discipline
- Foundational understanding of industrial or energy sector operations (onshore and offshore preferred)
- Strong experience in emergency response and crisis management
- Familiarity with NIMS (National Incident Management System)
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
- High level of social intelligence and stakeholder awareness
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
Preferred Experience
- Emergency or Oil Spill Response Management
- Experience working with FEMA frameworks or guidelines
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning
- Exposure to training design and emergency exercises
- Familiarity with regulatory or maritime/emergency agencies
