Summary:
Design and improve kit carts and other shop-floor support equipment used in manufacturing. Work with production, logistics, and engineering to create practical designs that improve material flow, safety, ergonomics, and space use. Use 3D CAD software to develop concepts, models, drawings, and revisions from initial idea through implementation.

Design and improve kit carts and other shop-floor support equipment used in manufacturing. Work with production, logistics, and engineering to create practical designs that improve material flow, safety, ergonomics, and space use. Use 3D CAD software to develop concepts, models, drawings, and revisions from initial idea through implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and revise kit carts, racks, fixtures, and related support equipment
- Create 3D models, layouts, and drawings using CAD software
- Gather requirements from production, logistics, and engineering teams
- Turn shop-floor needs into functional, manufacturable designs
- Improve designs based on operator feedback, workflow, safety, and ergonomic needs
- Support projects from concept through build and implementation
- Experience with 3D CAD software
- Experience in design drafting, mechanical design, or manufacturing support
- Ability to design practical solutions for shop-floor and material flow needs
- Understanding of ergonomics, safety, and space constraints in manufacturing
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
