The Role
We are seeking a Distributor Manager – Luzon to drive regional sales performance and lead distributor development across the Luzon market.
This role will be responsible for delivering annual sales targets by effectively managing distributor relationships, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and driving execution excellence in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
Deliver primary and secondary sales volume targets across the Luzon region
Support distributors in developing and executing annual business plans aligned with company objectives
Drive sales pipeline discipline through regular reviews and coaching
Identify and develop key accounts to accelerate growth
Distributor Management
Implement distributor network strategies within the assigned region
Monitor distributor performance through regular scorecards and reviews
Provide hands-on support, coaching, and guidance to distributor sales teams
Support the appointment and development of sub-distributors and dealers
Market Execution
Ensure alignment and execution of sales and marketing strategies in key focus sectors
Drive implementation of segment-specific programs
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy
Operations & Financial Management
Manage distributor marketing budgets and ensure alignment with business priorities
Oversee Trade Accounts Receivable (TAR) within agreed limits
Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time delivery
Track performance and submit timely sales and pipeline reports
Leadership & Collaboration
Coach and develop distributor sales teams to enhance capability and performance
Build strong relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders
Lead by example to drive a high-performance, results-oriented culture
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 12 years of sales experience (B2B and/or B2C)
At least 8 years of distributor/channel management experience
Strong background in the lubricants, automotive aftermarket, or industrial sectors preferred
Experience working with retailers, workshops, trucking, or construction sectors is advantageous
Key Skills
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent coaching and leadership capabilities
Commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of distribution and market dynamics
Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented
Working Arrangement
Based in Manila, covering the Luzon region
70% field-based / 30% remote work
Regular travel required (approximately twice per month)
