A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a senior leader to head its Industrial Automation in Thailand. This role carries full P&L responsibility and is accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term business performance across key industry segments including Automotive, Electronics, Food & Beverage, and Packaging. The successful candidate will build and lead a high-performing commercial and technical organization while strengthening strategic relationships with key suppliers, OEM partners, and major customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume full ownership of the division’s Profit & Loss (P&L), including annual budgeting, monthly performance tracking, and execution of corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
  • Lead, develop, and retain Sales and Application Engineering teams, including talent acquisition, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Drive business growth by expanding presence in priority industry verticals, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and ensuring forecast accuracy.
  • Manage and grow strategic partnerships with principals and OEMs, including commercial negotiations, joint go-to-market initiatives, and technical capability development.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, particularly within the top-tier accounts in Thailand, while strengthening brand and market reputation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project execution—on time, within budget, and aligned with service expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering (MBA or postgraduate business qualification is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation, machine control systems, robotics, capital equipment, or automation solutions, including:
    • At least 5 years in technical sales or business development
    • At least 3 years in application engineering or technical solution roles
  • Proven experience with P&L or revenue ownership at country, division, or business-unit level.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, leading teams of 5 or more professionals.
  • Strong working knowledge of common automation platforms used in Thai manufacturing (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, ABB, or equivalent).
  • Fluent Thai with professional-level English (spoken and written).
  • Established professional network in at least one priority industrial vertical in Thailand.
