Overview
Supports project teams by managing engineering and supplier documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper flow of information across EDMS platforms and physical record systems. Works within operating facilities and engineering environments to maintain document integrity throughout all project phases.

Supports project teams by managing engineering and supplier documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper flow of information across EDMS platforms and physical record systems. Works within operating facilities and engineering environments to maintain document integrity throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the Information Management Plan and follow all document control procedures.
- Perform QA/QC on engineering and supplier deliverables (document numbers, titles, revisions, dates).
- Maintain and update Master Document Registers (MDRs), Supplier MDRs (SMDRs), and Document Distribution Matrices (DDMs).
- Process contractor and engineering deliverables through EDMS platforms (Volt, Aconex, UDOCS).
- Support metadata validation and document transfers into company systems.
- Conduct periodic assessments and gap analyses of contractor document control processes.
- Manage physical documentation, including manuals, drawings, stick files, and record preparation.
- Transport manuals and drawings to control rooms and support field documentation needs.
- Participate in project meetings and provide information management support to project teams.
- Prepare training materials and assist with onboarding clerical staff on document control procedures.
- Support the Documents for Operations (DFO) Coordinator and Information Management Lead.
- High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures
- 3–5 years of document control or engineering office experience.
- University degree preferred
- Strong understanding of revision/version control and engineering documentation workflows.
- Experience with EDMS platforms (Aconex, Volt, UDOCS) and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to open, print, and plot drawings (AutoCAD/Bluebeam experience an asset).
- Electronic documentation experience considered an asset.
- Strong written communication skills for procedures, reporting, and team interaction.
- Valid driver’s license
