OEM Contractor. Workshop located in the City of Canning region. Modern workshop facilities. Secure long-term work – genuine opportunity to gain permanent employment.

Industry leading OEM company with an international presence in surface & underground mining. They have a high-performing maintenance team with a great work culture.
The role will see you support critical workshop operations, complete rebuilds, and keep drill rigs running at peak performance. Take ownership of your work in a stable, well-equipped Welshpool workshop.

SALARY & BENEFITS (CONTRACT ROLE)
- Competitive hourly rate + Super on all hours worked
- Fortnightly pay via a modern online payroll system
- Monday–Friday roster, 10–12-hour shifts, with optional Saturdays
- Convenient workshop location with onsite facilities & parking
- Opportunity for contract extension or sign-over for the right candidate
- Dedicated NES Fircroft Consultant and Support Staff throughout your contract

- Trade-qualified Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, or Plant Mechanic
- Previous experience working on drill rigs (any brand or model)
- Confident with maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds
- Fault-finding and diagnostic skills (desired but not essential)
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently in a workshop environment
