About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Drilling Wellsite Supervisor to lead and oversee field operations on drilling programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations while coordinating multiple contractors and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all onsite drilling operations, including rig activities, casing, cementing, and related services
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
  • Coordinate and manage drilling contractors, service providers, and third-party vendors
  • Monitor drilling performance, optimize operations, and address any technical or operational challenges
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, including operations, safety metrics, and cost tracking
  • Lead daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
  • Communicate effectively with drilling engineers, operations teams, and management
  • Ensure proper implementation of drilling programs and procedures
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Drilling Wellsite Supervisor or equivalent
  • Strong background in conventional and/or unconventional drilling operations
  • Experience with pad drilling and multi-well programs considered an asset
  • Proven leadership and contractor management skills
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and safety requirements in Western Canada
  • Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with major operators (e.g., CNRL, Cenovus, Suncor)
  • Background in horizontal drilling and complex well designs
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and cost control
