E&I Planner – Shutdown | 6 Month Contract | PNG
We are currently seeking an experienced E&I Planner to support a major mining operation in Papua New Guinea. This is a 6-month contract opportunity within a shutdown environment, working across critical electrical and instrumentation scopes.
This role requires a strong technical planner who can prepare detailed work packs and ensure execution readiness across E&I activities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Shutdown team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing all Electrical & Instrumentation shutdown works.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed work packs for E&I shutdown activities
- Define labour, materials, tools, and equipment requirements
- Liaise with supervisors and execution teams to ensure readiness
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Track work progress and support shutdown execution
- Proven experience as an E&I Planner within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Previous shutdown planning experience
- Proficiency in SAP (essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure shutdown environment
- 6-month contract (B2B engagement)
