NESFircroft continue to support our global power generation client on their CCGT projects. We are actively sourcing for an Electrical Installation TFA to join their CCGT project in Greece.
Role Description: Field Installation Electrical
Overview
The Field Installation TFA is responsible for supervising the electrical and instrumentation installation for shaft line equipment, HRSG, and BOP electrical equipment, including interconnects, power distribution, control systems, transformers, and the HV switchyard in Open Cycle and Combined Cycle Plant configurations.
He reports to the Overall Installation Manager in TK and to the Lead TDI/Site Manager in the EEP project.

- Ensure technical compliance for electrical and instrumentation systems
- Anticipate, coordinate, and supervise installation activities
- Drive installation and TOP schedule
- Drive LSR implementation
Key Roles
- Review execution drawings based on GE specifications
- Ensure quality plans and red-marked-up drawings are accurately documented
- Prepare electrical systems for pre-commissioning
- Respect the EHS/LOTO plan
- Prepare assignment before site mobilization, including:
- drawings
- part lists
- quality documents
- installation and commissioning schedule
- review of interconnection wiring MLI 0445

- wire list MLI 0401
- device summary MLI 0414
- Perform detailed material inventory of GE-supplied material against packing lists and drawing part lists (GT/ST/GEN/HRSG and all BOP) within GE scope
- Review conformity of civil and mechanical interfaces (cable ducts, trenches, steel structure) before electrical installation
- Anticipate, coordinate, and drive activities with the subcontractor, partner, or EPC/customer (daily plan, weekly objectives)
- Share lessons learned and best practices
- Supervise instrument installation on GT/ST/GEN/HRSG, motors, and JBs; supervise electrical cable pulling and termination on shaft line and BOP electrical equipment; supervise termination inside electrical and controls cubicles, electrical power distribution systems, control systems, transformers, and HV switchyard; ensure compliance with GE specifications and ATEX
- Take critical measurements with the subcontractor, partner, or EPC/customer (e.g., generator insulation test)
- Supervise cable insulation testing and cold loop checks; prepare electrical systems for pre-commissioning
- Follow and coordinate priorities on BOP electrical and instrumentation installation to support TOP and commissioning
- Report site nonconformance or deviation and provide technical resolution with engineering; follow action plans
- Identify and report missing or damaged material for ordering
- Ensure execution of engineering changes and report closure
- Follow BOQ management in TK PI
- Document and validate system electrical installation quality records, ITPL, and red-mark-up drawings
- Drive system walk-down turnover to commissioning and follow up punch list resolution, with a zero punch item target at COD
- Anticipate system pre-commissioning and assist the commissioning team in troubleshooting
- Participate and provide required input
