Electrician – High Voltage Commissioning

We’re looking for proactive, safety‑driven electricians ready to step into a specialist HV commissioning role. You’ll join the first team in Australia to bring new‑to‑market high‑voltage charging systems online — a rare chance to build deep expertise in a rapidly growing field.
Salary & Benefits
• $93 per hour + super
• Fortnightly pay
• 2:1 roster across multiple WA sites
• 12‑month contract with strong potential for extension
• Supported by a dedicated NES Fircroft consultant throughout your contract

About You
• A current WA (or equivalent) Electrical Licence
• HV Switching Operator certification
• Experience in HV commissioning, testing, or switching
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safe work practices
• The ability to work independently and within a commissioning team
The Job Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist commissioning team delivering next‑generation decarbonisation infrastructure. In this role, you will:
• Commission and test HV systems, chargers, and associated control equipment
• Work across multiple sites
• Support the rollout of seven variants of high‑capacity charging systems
• Become a subject‑matter expert on new equipment entering the market
• Play a key role in early‑stage designs, testing, and energisation activities
