Job Title: Electrician
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Shift: Day Shift (12‑hour shift)/ 60hrs/week
Duration: 12 Months (One Year) (Renewable)
Rate: $35-45 (Negotiable)
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Electrician to assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for industrial equipment including gas turbines and compressor packages. This role supports the electrical assembly and testing of industrial rotating equipment. The technician performs hands‑on wiring, termination, conduit work, and testing of control systems while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and electrical standards.

Position Summary:

Key Duties:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Assemble and wire control panels, conduit, cable trays, and terminations
- Work with MCCs, Fire & Gas systems, generator controls, vibration systems
- Follow NEC/IEC standards including hazardous & intrinsically safe areas
- Perform testing, documentation, and quality checks
- Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- High School Diploma/GED OR 10+ yrs equivalent industrial experience
- 5+ yrs electrical assembly / control panel / rotating equipment experience
- Ability to lift 45 lbs
- OSHA 10 required
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
