We are seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to lead field-based activity for a large scale mining project. This role requires strong leadership to manage all on-site activities, contractors, and stakeholder engagement, with potential to transition into a broader exploration management position.

We are seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to lead field-based activity for a large scale mining project. This role requires strong leadership to manage all on-site activities, contractors, and stakeholder engagement, with potential to transition into a broader exploration management position.
Core Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in mineral exploration geology, particularly in drill program design and execution
- Expertise in structural geology, target generation, and geological data interpretation
- Proficient in GIS and 3D modeling software (Leapfrog preferred)
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and geological data management
- Proven ability to independently manage field operations and lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience engaging with landholders, Indigenous groups, and managing land access agreements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated budget management and cost control abilities
- Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments, maintaining safety and operational discipline
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline
- 10–20+ years’ relevant exploration geology and field leadership experience
- Background in copper-gold projects and remote exploration settings preferred
- Familiarity with heritage clearances and regulatory compliance
- Experience in multi-asset exploration portfolio oversight
- Knowledge of public market reporting requirements and technical communications

- Willingness to be based in, and work extensively from, remote field locations with roster flexibility
- Strong ownership mentality with a calm and decisive approach under pressure
