Field Account Specialist
The Technician will be primarily responsible for supporting day to day operations of a specialty chemical service account. Under general supervision and with safety in mind, the Technician will be conducting routine chemical analysis and services to ensure conformance to key chemical treatment parameters. This will also include sample collection, laboratory analysis, chemical deliveries and injection system maintenance/adjustments

Under general supervision and with safety in mind, the Technician will be conducting routine chemical analysis and services to ensure conformance to key chemical treatment parameters. This will also include sample collection, laboratory analysis, chemical deliveries and injection system maintenance/adjustments
Responsibilities
- Supporting field sampling, testing, injection system maintenance and reporting
- Supporting the development and installation of new systems and designs to apply our chemical products and technologies
- Partnering with sales and engineering representatives support operations and data collection for our customers
- Identifying and coordinating numerous projects to support the application of our chemicals and programs in the field
- Monitoring and maintaining existing programs for customers to provide reporting on performance of applications with basic data and information
- Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Schedule flexibility to allow for occasional overtime on evenings and weekends
- Participate in a random drug testing program
Preferences:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in refining operations
- Solid understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology
- Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation
