Field Service Representative I (Install / Hygiene)

Location: North Phoenix, AZ (onsite)
There is no relocation support associated with this role.

Pay Rate: Starting at $25/hr
Schedule: Rotating 4-day / 3-day shift (day or night); overtime and weekends as needed

Position Summary Entry-level hands-on technical role supporting water treatment and disinfection systems at a single client site. Responsible for routine maintenance, water testing, equipment support, and ensuring safe system operation in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily water quality testing (pH, conductivity, bacteria, turbidity, alkalinity, solids)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine service tasks
  • Replace and maintain system components (filters, UV units, resin, RO systems, etc.)
  • Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of chemical feed and monitoring equipment 
  • Execute cooling tower cleaning and large-scale disinfection
  • Operate basic tools and equipment, including power washers and industrial vacuums
  • Track, log, and report system data and inventory levels
  • Provide basic technical support and escalate complex issues
  • Follow all site safety protocols, PPE requirements, and chemical handling procedures
  • Support lab testing and basic experiments as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ~1 year of experience in industrial, mechanical, or related environment preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable working in physical, industrial conditions
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
Physical & Work Environment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Exposure to heat, cold, noise, and chemicals
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and bending
  • Work performed onsite; no travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or trade certification
  • Experience with water treatment or chemical systems
  • Familiarity with cooling towers, boilers, or wastewater systems
  • Basic computer skills (data entry/reporting)
