Job Overview

We are seeking a Field Installation Technician to travel between client sites installing manual and Bluetooth-enabled lock systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in home internet, cable, or tech installations similar to technicians who set up internet or smart devices in residential or commercial environments.

Technicians will service 2–10 client locations per day, working independently while delivering excellent customer service. Some overnight travel may be required depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel from site to site to install manual and Bluetooth-enabled lock systems
  • Complete multiple installations per day (approximately 2–10 client sites daily)
  • Provide a professional, customer-friendly on‑site experience
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and confirm system functionality post-installation
  • Accurately document completed installations and report any issues
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and installation standards

Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience in customer‑facing field roles
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple client sites daily
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel

Basic Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Minimum 2 years of work or military experience 
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (last 2 years) 
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Previous field service experience preferred 
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical discipline preferred 
  • Technical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cellular/Bluetooth devices 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to deliver results
