We are seeking a FIFO Senior Contracts Administrator for an 9 month contract with experience in quantity surveying to join our team in this critical project role. You will be responsible for protecting the company’s commercial interests and ensuring effective subcontract management throughout project execution, with a strong focus on site-based construction activities.
  • Karratha FIFO 2:1 roster, working 10.5 hr days
This role requires a hands-on, outcomes-driven professional who can operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with project and site teams, providing commercial and contractual guidance while proactively managing risk and driving performance.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Manage the Site Transfers of Scope (Site Instruction) Process
  • Review and administer the submission of Dayworks Records against Scope Transfers
  • Manage subcontractor commercial and contractual activities on site
  • Act as the key commercial and contractual focal point for the site team
  • Asses, negotiate and resolve subcontractor variations and claims
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, progress and cost against scope
  • Ensure timely issue of contractual notices and compliance with terms
  • Review and agree subcontractor progress claims and payments
  • Close out subcontractor final accounts efficiently
  • Identify and manage commercial risks across site execution
  • Support cost tracking, forecasting and reporting on site
  • Work closely with construction teams to drive commercial outcomes and resolve issues quickly
Qualifications
  • Degree in Commerce, Law, Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in site-based construction subcontracting (highly desirable)
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law principles
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in contracts/subcontracting roles
