FIRE TECHNICIAN
Join a high‑performing site services team and play a critical role in maintaining essential fire protection systems.
• Maintain and service fire suppression and fire safety infrastructure across a major mining operation
• Ensure statutory compliance and support site‑wide emergency readiness
• Contribute to a safe, reliable, and high‑integrity fire protection network

SALARY & BENEFITS
• $100/hr + superannuation
• Contract position with high potential of extension/permenant role
• FIFO roster from Perth with modern camp facilities

ABOUT YOU
• Experienced in fire system inspection, testing, or maintenance within mining, industrial, or commercial environments
• Hold a WA Electrical Licence (A‑Class) and C‑Class Driver’s Licence
• Confident working with fire suppression systems, alarms, hydrants, extinguishers, and firewater infrastructure
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and accurate documentation
• Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and respond effectively to system activations
THE JOB ROLE
• Maintain, inspect, and test fire protection systems including fixed suppression, portable equipment, hydrants, deluge systems, vehicle suppression, and firewater pumps
• Support a major mining operation by ensuring all fire systems remain compliant with WHS legislation and Australian Standards
• Conduct ECR testing across critical infrastructure such as substations and control rooms
• Respond to alarms, perform corrective maintenance, and ensure accurate SAP record‑keeping
• Join a respected mining operator with strong safety culture, modern facilities, and long‑term career pathways
