About the Role
We are supporting a leading engineering and construction company in the Oil & Gas sector in their search for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support ongoing geotechnical studies and design activities.
This role will involve working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, contributing to foundation design and geotechnical analysis for complex offshore and onshore projects.

About the Role
We are supporting a leading engineering and construction company in the Oil & Gas sector in their search for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support ongoing geotechnical studies and design activities.
This role will involve working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, contributing to foundation design and geotechnical analysis for complex offshore and onshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out geotechnical engineering studies as part of project delivery
- Perform foundation design and analysis in accordance with international standards
- Conduct numerical modelling and stability analysis using industry software
- Work independently while reporting into the Project Manager
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (civil, structural, offshore, etc.)
- Deliver technical documentation and reports to required quality standards
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in foundation design methodologies
- Working knowledge of international standards such as:
- API
- ISO
- DNV
- BS
- BV
- Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software, including:
- PLAXIS
- TALREN (2D/3D)
- FOXTA
- K-REA
- Degree-qualified in Geotechnical Engineering / Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Background in engineering consultancy or design office environments
- Proven experience delivering geotechnical work within complex engineering projects
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector is essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously while integrating within project teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
- Location: Full-time on-site in Puteaux, France
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 1 year (with potential extension)
