PURPOSE
The Inventory Analyst – GW&S is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of inventory management activities in support of Global Wells & Seismic operations within the Global Solutions framework.
The role delivers accurate, timely and compliant inventory execution through adherence to approved processes, systems and decision boundaries. Operating in a rule‑based, execution capacity, the role supports drilling, completions, seismic and well intervention activities by ensuring inventory is planned, tracked, transacted and controlled effectively, while identifying and escalating exceptions to the GW&S Inventory Lead or Global Excellence as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Execute day‑to‑day inventory management activities in line with approved GW&S workflows and service levels.
· Apply materials master data accurately to support inventory control and demand fulfilment.
· Perform accurate and timely SAP ERP (MM) transactions in accordance with approved procedures.
· Track inventory from demand through receipt, storage, issue, and return, identifying risks to DIFOT performance.
· Support demand planning and forecasting activities with GW&S operations and planning stakeholders.
· Knowledge of financial processes that enable inventory control.
· Monitor inventory levels, movements and availability to support operational readiness.
· Support cycle counts, stock verification, and stocktakes in accordance with approved schedules.
· Identify slow‑moving, excess or obsolete inventory and support agreed reduction or disposal activities.
· Maintain focus on inventory data accuracy and completeness, escalating systemic issues as required.
· Execute inventory management activities in compliance with statutory, regulatory and HSEQ requirements.
· Apply approved materials handling, storage and transportation processes in day‑to‑day work.
· Identify and escalate safety or compliance issues that fall outside defined controls or role authority.
· Liaise with Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement, Master Data and GW&S stakeholders to support inventory outcomes.
· Coordinate with service providers and vendors to ensure materials are delivered, stored and issued safely and on time.
· Act as a point of contact for routine inventory queries within defined role authority.
· Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance inventory execution efficiency and accuracy.
· Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate data, transaction records and evidence.
· Identify execution issues or non‑standard scenarios and escalate to the GW&S Inventory Lead for direction.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Experience in inventory or materials management within operational or asset‑intensive environments.
· Working knowledge of SAP ERP (MM) and inventory transaction processes.
· Understanding of warehousing and logistics interfaces.
· Understanding of drilling, completions or well services operations (desirable).
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Ability to work within defined processes, controls and escalation pathways.
· Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
· Exposure to drilling, completions or seismic operations (desirable).
· Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience (desirable).
