Job Opportunity: Head of Marine (Compliance & MWS) – Doha, Qatar
🔹 Location: Doha, Qatar
🔹 Work Setup: 100% Onshore
🔹 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
🔹 Schedule: 6 Days/Week | 8–10 Hours/Day
🔹 Industry: Oil & Gas / LNG

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Marine (Compliance & MWS) to lead marine assurance, compliance, and incident management across major offshore projects. This role will drive marine safety excellence, establish standardized practices, and ensure full compliance with international regulations and company governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead marine incident management, investigations, and root cause analysis
  • Drive marine assurance programs and offshore vessel compliance
  • Establish and standardize marine execution best practices across projects
  • Act as SME supporting offshore operations, risk assessments, and marine strategy
  • Manage vessel performance, KPIs, and marine coordination
  • Lead marine audits, inspections, and MWS consultancy contracts
  • Promote a strong safety culture and marine operational excellence
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Engineering or Master Mariner / Chief Engineer (CoC)
  • 10+ years seagoing experience (including 2+ years as Master or Chief Engineer)
  • Extensive experience managing offshore marine operations and major project execution
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, DP systems, and offshore marine activities
  • Experience in Marine Assurance, Compliance, and MWS (IMCA preferred)
  • Proven leadership in offshore spread management and stakeholder coordination
