Helper/Manufacturing Technician
Rate: $19/hr Duration: 1-Year
Location: Houston, Texas
Rotating Shifts: M-F 5:00am-1:30pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, or 9:00pm-5:30am (Weekends may be required)
Description:
Responsible for cleaning, mopping, sweeping, emptying trash containers, cleaning shavings The Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician supports daily production operations across extrusion, tapeline, and cover line processes. This role focuses on monitoring equipment performance, assisting with machine setup, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement activities. The technician works closely with operators and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing multi-line competency.
Essential Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED are required
- Manufacturing environment background (preferably oil & gas) desired
- Forklift and crane experience, Mechanical experience/aptitude
- Familiarity with Excel, Oracle or SAP/ERP Systems and Microsoft word would be an asset
