The HR Coordinator / Generalist will support the HR Leadership team , assisting across core HR functions including recruitment, personnel data management, HR policies and procedures, talent review, succession planning, and execution of the annual HR operating plan.
The role involves coordinating recruitment activities such as job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding, in close collaboration with hiring managers, recruitment teams, and the Contingent Labour team.
The position is also responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential HR data in HR Information Systems, preparing HR reports and dashboards using Excel and PowerBI, and supporting leadership decision‑making through data analysis. The HR Coordinator / Generalist will facilitate HR meetings and track follow‑up actions, and support additional HR initiatives as requested by HR leadership.

Key Requirements
- University degree in HR, Business Administration, or a technical discipline related to the Oil & Gas industry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR roles within Oil & Gas operators in Iraq
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong MS Office skills, including advanced Excel (Pivot tables, charts) and PowerBI
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary environment
- Ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and present options for management decision‑making
