Role Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance & Occupational Safety Specialist to ensure full compliance with French labor laws and occupational safety regulations. The role focuses on maintaining mandatory safety documentation, supporting regulatory audits, and ensuring adherence to workplace safety requirements within an industrial or laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with French labor laws and regulatory requirements across all operations.
  • Manage and maintain mandatory occupational health and safety documentation
    • DUERP (Document Unique d'Évaluation des Risques Professionnels)
    • PPSPS (Plan Particulier de Sécurité et de Protection de la Santé)
    • PDP (Plan de Prévention)
  • Monitor and implement mandatory legal training requirements in line with French labor regulations.
  • Conduct internal checks and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal obligations.
  • Support risk assessments and ensure proper mitigation actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Stay up to date with changes in French labor law, occupational health, and safety legislation.
  • Provide guidance and support during external inspections or regulatory audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and compliance processes.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of French labor law and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with legal occupational training obligations in France.
  • In-depth understanding of mandatory safety documentation (DUERP, PPSPS, PDP, etc.).
  • Experience working in an industrial and/or laboratory environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple compliance tasks.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas (O&G) industry standards.
  • Familiarity with offshore and marine regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in high-risk or regulated industries is advantageous.
Certifications
  • Valid MFC (Medical Fitness Certificate) required.
