HSSE Manager - Solar Project - 1 Year Contract (North East Thailand)

Work Environment & Travel

• Site‑based role at active construction and project locations
• Travel across multiple project sites in Thailand
• Exposure to construction, commissioning, and operational activities, including high‑risk work
• Flexibility required for audits, inspections, and emergency response

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site‑level HSSE management systems in line with Thai regulations and international standards
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance; liaise with relevant authorities
• Lead risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and risk controls
• Deliver HSSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
• Oversee contractor HSSE performance and compliance
• Lead incident investigations and emergency preparedness
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage environmental compliance and site security
• Maintain HSSE data, KPIs, and reporting
• Engage with local authorities, communities, and auditors
• Support regional HSSE initiatives and best‑practice sharing

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certified Safety Officer (Thailand DLPW – Professional Level)
• ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Auditor certification
• 6–8 years of HSSE experience in construction or energy projects
• Experience in site‑based HSSE leadership and contractor management

Skills & Competencies

• HSSE management systems and risk assessment (HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, PTW)
• Incident investigation and environmental compliance
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Clear communication in Thai and English
• Proactive, resilient, and able to influence site teams
