Human Resource Generalist (Specialist) / Recruitment Consultant

The Position
Our client is seeking a Human Resource Generalist (Recruitment Consultant) to support the organization's continued growth and evolving talent needs across North America. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders to deliver strategic recruitment services and attract top talent.
As part of a geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team, you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process, providing exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using social media platforms, online recruiting tools, referrals, networking, and candidate data mining techniques.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies, labor market research, and ongoing relationship management.
- Support the company’s commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
- Deliver a candidate-centric recruitment experience throughout all stages of the hiring process.
- Guide candidates and hiring leaders through the recruitment and selection process while maintaining consistent communication.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR partners.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate applicants against role requirements and organizational needs.
- Present qualified candidate shortlists to hiring leaders within established timelines.
- Analyze recruitment funnel metrics, applicant demographics, and hiring trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Recommend and implement recruitment best practices to enhance service delivery and hiring outcomes.
- Partner with HR teams and business stakeholders to support organizational talent acquisition objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within recruitment processes and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and sourcing methodologies.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies and engaging passive candidates.
- Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and probing strategies.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment marketing tools, and employee databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
- Ability to think strategically and understand the broader impacts of decisions on systems, processes, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence and consult effectively with hiring managers and business leaders.
