I & E Maintenance Technician

1. Adhere to all safety guidelines, rules, and regulations set forth by the company.
2. Must follow Plant and Personal Safety Programs and Safe Work Practices. Individual will not take unnecessary risks to complete job assignments.  Ensure safe work and operation of equipment is being performed properly.
3. Follow all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Quality and Food safety guidelines and EMT/SOPs set forth by the company.
4. Be the example of safety, quality and positive attitude.  Conducting self professionally with coworkers and management. 
5. Interface with plant engineers and management on shutdowns and special projects.
6. Understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures that may be given by management.
7. Other items that may be assigned by management.
8. Maintain the electrical and instrument components/equipment, plant power supplies and distributions and parts supplies for the following equipment:      
9. Maintain spare parts required.
10. Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
11. Plan, procure & implement in-plant modifications & developments.
12. Manage electrical/Instruments contract crews.
13. Desired hands-on working experience on Field Instruments, PLCs, DCS, Pneumatic system, Conveying system, compressors, heat exchangers, underwater strand granulators, agitator’s chillers, fuel fired furnace heaters, motors and process equipment.
14. Ability to understand the electrical drawings.
15. Must follow Plant and Personal Safety Programs and safe work practices.
16. Must be able to support a twenty-four-seven plant operation.
17. Must be able to read electrical drawings and revise.
18. Other jobs as assigned by management.
