Industrial Laboratory Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Laboratory Technician to join a well-established industrial manufacturing business based in South Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on technical role where you’ll be responsible for supporting production quality through testing, analysis and technical problem-solving.
This position offers full training and the opportunity to develop your skills within a stable, growing organisation.

 About the role
  • Customer communication
  • Carry out routine sampling, testing and analysis.
  • Record and interpret results accurately.
  • Assist with investigating and resolving technical or quality-related issues.
  • Maintain testing equipment and manage laboratory inventory.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
About you

To be successful, you’ll have:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An interest in science, chemistry or industrial processes.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, laboratory or technical environment is advantageous.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and Ministry of Justice check.
