Inspection Supervisor

Join us as an Inspection Supervisor at our client’s Rotterdam office, where you will play a pivotal role overseeing and coordinating inspection services for major energy projects.

This hands-on leadership position offers the unique opportunity to lead globally distributed teams, manage supplier performance, and ensure the seamless execution of inspection and expediting activities that uphold project milestones and contractual commitments.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience managing inspection and expediting services within energy or manufacturing projects
• Proven ability to serve as the primary liaison among Project Management, Clients, Line Management, and third-party agencies
• Strong coordination and planning skills to align inspection activities with Project Inspection Plans and company processes
• Expertise in managing subcontracted inspection services across commercial, technical, and performance dimensions
• Exceptional data discipline with a focus on completeness, accuracy, and timely reporting
• Proficient in risk identification, mitigation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, especially in reporting and progress consolidation

Nice to Have Skills

• Certifications in inspection or quality assurance such as NDT, NACE, or COMPEX
• Experience working with global and multicultural teams in dynamic environments
• Knowledge of GEMS processes or similar project management systems

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a technical discipline related to inspection and compliance
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or project management within the energy sector

Other Requirements

• Based in the Netherlands to enable effective onsite leadership and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate extensively with internal and external teams to meet demanding project timelines
