About the Role
We’re looking for a hands on Integration Engineer to support the deployment and integration of complex software systems across simulation and real-world environments.
Working closely with the Integration Technical Lead and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in bringing together software from multiple development streams, ensuring it integrates, runs reliably, and meets quality standards ahead of release.

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands on Integration Engineer to support the deployment and integration of complex software systems across simulation and real-world environments.
Working closely with the Integration Technical Lead and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in bringing together software from multiple development streams, ensuring it integrates, runs reliably, and meets quality standards ahead of release.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assigned integration activities end-to-end within SIL/HIL and on-site environments.
- Prepare integration builds and environments (branches, tags, dependency alignment, configuration, test data).
- Progress triage and debug issues, gathering logs and evidence, performing first-line fixes where appropriate, and raising well-formed defects.
- Develop and maintain smoke/shakedown tests and lightweight test plans for recurring integrations as features are added.
- Document integration steps, configurations, known limitations, and results to support exit criteria for Verification.
- Communicate integration status, risks, and blockers to site and Perth and site-based leadership at appropriate cadence.
- Support external teams (Development, Verification & Validation) by reproducing issues, sharing evidence, and validating fixes.
- Contribute to integration automation, test reusability, and environment reliability improvements.
- Follow escalation paths and handover processes defined by the Technical Lead – Integration.
- 3+ years' experience in software engineering.
- Strong technical generalist with ability to solve complex problems under time pressure.
- Foundational understanding of software integration for SIL/HIL environments.
- Familiarity with Git, issue trackers, and CI/CD tooling.
- Basic scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) and log analysis.
- Strong C++ and C# knowledge.
- Clear written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
- Evidence-focused triage, prioritization, and resolution of issues.
