Jetty Construction Engineer / Civil Marine SME (Lifting & Hoisting Support)
Location: Tabangao, Philippines
Contract Duration: Immediate start until end‑2028

Role Overview The Civil Marine Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide independent technical expertise to support the planning, execution, and technical oversight of jetty construction works, with particular focus on offshore piling, marine civil structures, modular interfaces, and construction risk management.

This role is construction‑focused and is intended to supplement the project team with specialist marine and jetty execution knowledge.

Education

• Civil Engineer

Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Marine Engineering
• Certification in Lifting and Hoisting

Work Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in marine civil engineering
• Direct involvement in jetty, wharf, or berth construction projects as a primary scope
• Demonstrated construction‑phase experience (design‑only experience is not sufficient)

Scope of Services The Civil Marine SME shall:

• Provide technical input on marine and jetty civil construction, including piling, decks, trestles, dolphins, and access structures
• Review and comment on contractor technical submissions, including:
  • Offshore / over‑water piling method statements
  • Marine temporary works and construction sequencing
  • Constructability and marine risk assessments
  • Lifting and hoisting over water and live assets
• Advise on construction feasibility, sequencing, and risk mitigation in tidal and near‑shore environments
• Support technical coordination between civil marine works and modular or prefabricated structures, where applicable
• Participate in technical meetings, constructability reviews, and risk workshops related to jetty construction
• Provide independent technical advice during critical marine activities, including piling works, heavy lifts, and deck installation

Jetty Construction Competency Proven experience with:

• Marine civil structures, including jetty decks, trestles, and access structures
• Construction works executed over or adjacent to water
• Ability to review construction methodologies and identify constructability risks
