Junior Maintenance Engineer

Junior Maintenance Engineer CONTRACTOR is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to support the execution of the services described in this specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze EPC/EPSCC technical documentation, including:
  • P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
  • PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)
  • Cross-sectional drawings
  • Equipment datasheets
  • Other engineering documentation
• Support the Engineering Team in the development and maintenance of the Functional Location hierarchy within the CMMS.
• Assist in the setup and optimization of preventive and corrective Maintenance Plans.
• Contribute to the identification and definition of multi-discipline spare parts requirements.
• Support inventory and stock management activities, including:
  • Minimum and maximum stock levels
  • Safety stock calculations
  • Critical and capital spare parts management

Required Qualifications & Skills Technical Competencies

• Ability to interpret and review engineering and technical documentation.
• Basic maintenance engineering knowledge across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process).
• Experience supporting maintenance strategy development and maintenance plan implementation.
• Understanding of spare parts management and inventory optimization principles.
• Knowledge of asset management and maintenance best practices.

Software & Systems

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Access, Excel, and Word.

Languages

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Preferred Profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Maintenance Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic industrial environment.
