Junior Project Manager

NES Fircroft is hiring a Junior Project Manager to support a power generation company in North Houston. This role is a good fit for someone with up to 5 years of experience who is ready to move into their first project management role.
This person will support projects involving power generation equipment, turbomachinery packages, mechanical/electrical systems, vendors, and internal project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support project schedules, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, shop, and field teams
• Track materials, equipment, documentation, and action items
• Follow up with vendors and internal teams to keep projects moving
• Assist with customer updates, meeting notes, and project reporting
• Help identify schedule, cost, or delivery concerns early
• Support project closeout and handover documentation

Requirements:

• Up to 5 years of project coordination, project engineering, operations, manufacturing, or related project support experience
• Interest in growing into a project management role
• Power generation, industrial, manufacturing, EPC, mechanical, or electrical experience preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable working with schedules, trackers, and project documents
• Ability to work with vendors, customers, and internal project teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; MS Project or similar tools preferred
