Key Accountabilities
• Assists Land Asset Teams in acquiring and maintaining oil & gas leases and Exploration & Production contracts focusing on research, creating various reports and analysis of data.
• Responds to mineral owner questions, issues or demands.
• Researches and analyzes leases and contracts, including ownership set up for new wells, determining working interest and net revenue interest in new wells or recompletions.
• Determines working interest ownership in federal units & participating area expansions.
• Develops and maintains network relationships with government agencies, lessors, mineral owners and partners.
• Develops and maintains network relationships with other groups within company, i.
e.
, legal, accounting, tax, production and auditing.
• Creates various reports from Tobin Land Suite or parallel systems.
• Creates various reports from Business Objects pertaining to critical leases.
• Gathers and analyzes data for quarterly contract obligation reports and lease obligations reports.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
• Entry level, typically 0-3 years of experience.
• Requires basic knowledge of discipline.
• Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems.
• Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices.
