About The Role

We are seeking an experienced commercial finance professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis in a complex, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, including scenario modelling to support senior leadership decisions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports with clear variance analysis
  • Provide financial insights and models for strategic planning and cost control
  • Prepare board-level reports and respond to detailed stakeholder and shareholder queries
  • Lead implementation and optimisation of financial planning tools and systems, including user training
  • Oversee ERP and financial systems to ensure data integrity and effective reporting
  • Manage accurate product costing and profitability analysis in collaboration with operations
  • Drive process improvement across costing, inventory, AP, budgeting and forecasting
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support cost-saving, liquidity and business initiatives
About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
  • CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a commercial accounting role (manufacturing or mining preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Clear and confident communicator, particularly in written financial reporting
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis capability
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems highly regarded
