We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and fabrication instructions to guide assembly processes.
- Perform assembly from components per assembly drawings/bill of material.
- Oversees functional testing on assemblies.
- Ensures test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.
- Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
- Monitors and applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly roles within a mechanical or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and machining tools.
- Experience with work on valves and actuators.
- Previous experience with tube bending techniques and equipment ability to bend tubing to precise specifications.
- Good mechanical background.
- Ability to lead others in work efforts.
- Proficient in the use of forklifts and other departmental equipment, machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
- 5+ years’ experience
