Mechanical BIM QA/QC Overview An opportunity is available for a Mechanical BIM QA/QC professional to support a growing portfolio of large-scale engineering and construction projects across multiple sectors, including energy, power, renewables, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and data centres.
This role will focus on ensuring quality, consistency, and coordination of BIM deliverables within a fast-paced project environment.

This role will focus on ensuring quality, consistency, and coordination of BIM deliverables within a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate 2D schematic to 3D model conversions
- Ensure compliance with BIM modelling standards and identify clashes
- Carry out 3D coordination of Asset Information Models
- Produce visual outputs and images to support clash detection reports
- Support the development of as-built documentation
- Adhere to document control procedures and workflows
- Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager
- Attend project meetings and interface with stakeholders as required
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant mechanical experience or trade background (e.g., Pipefitter/Plumber)
- Proficiency in Autodesk software and BIM tools
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
- Experience with AutoCAD service drawings
- Working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
- Plant 3D
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills
