SALARY & BENEFITS
- $65 per hour + super
- Bi-weekly pay via a modern online payroll system
- 2/2 roster offering excellent work/life balance
- Start date – Wednesday 6th May
- 6 month initial contract with opportunity for contract extension or sign‑over for the right person
- VOC provided on site for forklift and rigging if required
- Dedicated NES Fircroft Consultant and support team throughout your contract
- Invitations to NES Fircroft contractor events
- Access to additional contract opportunities through our extensive client network
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in fixed‑plant maintenance
- Ideally 2 years’ experience, but open to less for the right person
- Background working on crushers, screens, conveyors or similar equipment
- Positive, can‑do attitude with strong teamwork and safety focus
- Forklift or rigging tickets advantageous (not essential)
- Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and rebuilds on crushers, screens and conveyors
- Support major plant rebuild activities and shutdown tasks
- Work within a skilled maintenance team to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes
- Contribute to a productive, safety‑driven work environment
- Immediate priorities include plant rebuilds and ongoing maintenance support
