JOB TITLE Offshore Logistics Coordinator 

  SCOPE OF THE POSITION

The  Offshores logistics supervisor acts as the main Logistics focal point at the MODU for all movements of cargo and personnel to/from the field via Marine Vessels or Helicopters.
This role has daily interfaces with the  Logistics Team and MODU Team to ensure that all the material and personnel get to the MODU on due time while overviewing logistics compliance with established procedures, legislation and health and safety guidelines.  

DUTIES AND RESPSONSIBILITIES Operational Logistics
Issues Material request to vendors to prepare cargo packages for delivery at Shorebase.
Daily interface with the  Logistics Team and MODU Team for coordination of Marine Vessels and Helicopter movements. 
Issue backload manifests of materials/Equipment returning to shore base.

Look ahead planning & daily schedule
Attends morning and evening operational meetings to have knowledge of the third-party equipment and personnel movements.
Assist the  Project team with the preparation of the daily 14-day look ahead (cargo and personnel movements).
For Drilling operation, review and comment on the proposed well Master Equipment List prepared by Drilling team.
Work closely with the DSV to ensure a detailed plan is in place and all operations are completed as per the plan/manifest.
For Drilling operations Create Cargo and Utilities Request forms and submit to the onshore operations team after approval from the Senior Drilling Supervisor (SDSV)/Operation Manager. Forms must be accurate and contain a high level of detail on the items being requested.

PoB Management
In coordination with MODU Team, includes needs of personnel in the lookahead for entry/departure from Rig site.
Responsible to keep and update POB register in the Personnel Module of the Logistics Software. Either on its own or delegating to MODU personnel. 

Inventory
Maintain in the Logistics software a complete inventory of all  and third-party equipment (rental, purchase and consignment) based on incoming and backload manifests.
Perform daily walkarounds to visually confirm Work Site inventory. Absolutely critical that the Rig Logistics Coordinator is always fully aware of all  and third-party equipment. The person must have a good knowledge of drilling equipment and be able to visually recognize tools.

Cargo Tracking
Immediately notify the Project team of any discrepancies with equipment or cargoes arriving to wellsite.
Immediately notify the Project team of any equipment not returned as planned.
Immediately notify the Project team of any equipment which arrives in damaged or poor condition. Any such equipment would need to be marked accordingly – both physically and on the backload manifest.

Transport Execution
Ensure all rental equipment is returned as soon as possible after use (discuss and confirm with Project team) in order to minimize well costs. Equipment to be returned in a logical manner so that truck movements are optimized.
During demobilization, coordinate and compile backload manifests with the Wellsite Team and all third parties.
Perform visual checks of all CCU’s and packages to ensure certified and in good condition.
Ensure correct procedures are adhered to during the transfer of fuel, water, drilling mud or any other dangerous fluid needed for operations execution.
Issue detailed and accurate handover document to B2B prior to rotation to ensure a smooth transition.

HSE & Emergency Response
Demonstrate and consistently apply the highest level of leadership in HSE standards, practices and policies.
Ensure site safety and environmental management systems are implemented as designed and are consistent with internal policies and standards.
Actively participate in Safety, and continually encourage, the use of safety systems and tools while also monitoring participation/usage (safety cards, Toolbox Talk, JRA, weekly walk-around etc).
Pay special attention to the movement of radioactive sources, explosives or hazardous chemicals. Ensure all necessary paperwork has been completed.

Work with  HSE Coordinator to ensure MSDS sheets for all chemicals transported to the wellsite have been received.   EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • Experience in Well Abandonment Campaigns.
  • Experience working with multi vessel projects including AHTS and PSVs.
Desired
  • Degree in petroleum-related study, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related disciplines
  EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
  • Minimum 5 Years experience working as offshore logistics supervisor or DMC.
  • Minimum 3 Years experience working at Semisubs
  • Experience working with Logistics Software (Kabal or similar)
