O&M Manager (Solar)

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Client Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact for O&M‑related matters with clients and site teams.
• Coordinate with site engineers to troubleshoot incidents and minimize downtime.

O&M Contractor Management

• Ensure O&M contractors comply with applicable regulations, HSE requirements, and internal standards.
• Manage contractor tenders, contracts, budgets, and internal approvals.
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and manage delays or penalties when applicable.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality of works.

Asset Performance & Reliability

• Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, including module cleaning.
• Monitor PV asset performance and proactively address underperformance or energy losses.
• Ensure smooth handover of asset documentation, test results, and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate with project and engineering teams to resolve issues during defect liability periods.
• Ensure assets are insured and operated in full compliance with HSE standards.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure timely renewal of all required permits and licenses.
• Track activities through internal management tools and reporting systems.
• Drive cost optimization without compromising safety or performance.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, and procurement on invoicing matters.
• Act as a collaborative and reliable member of the local and regional team.

Accountabilities

• Maintain a strong HSE culture with a target of zero accidents.
• Optimize operational performance and availability of PV assets.
• Deliver annual operational and energy production targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in O&M, covering preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in solar or renewable energy projects is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PV testing and commissioning is a plus.
• Strong HSE mindset; work‑at‑height certification required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure.
• Well‑organized, autonomous, and able to manage priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
