Senior Pipe Stress Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Lead piping scope for assigned projects, including coordination with global teams
- Perform pipe stress analysis for new projects and existing facilities
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on scope and execution
- Review piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, API)
- Conduct stress analysis, material selection, and pipe routing optimization
- Support procurement of piping components and review deliverables
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers
- Conduct design reviews and ensure cross-discipline alignment
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design
- Review vendor drawings and participate in design reviews and HAZOPs
- Manage technical queries and design changes
- Ensure quality of deliverables and adherence to project standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- 10+ years of piping design and stress analysis experience in petrochemical industry
- Prior leadership experience
- Proficiency in Caesar II, SmartPlant Review, and Navisworks
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, PIP)
- Experience with material selection and piping system design
- LNG project experience preferred
- Knowledge of AIV/FIV, NDE/testing, and valve specification preferred
