Pipeline Consultant – Pigging Operations (Contract)
NES Fircroft is currently recruiting for a Pipeline Consultant to support a short-term project involving pigging operations for an onshore LNG facility.
Project Overview
This assignment involves the pigging of a 24" Methane Import Line using Gel Pig at an onshore LNG plant in the Philippines. The consultant will play a key role in supervising field execution and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Project Overview
This assignment involves the pigging of a 24" Methane Import Line using Gel Pig at an onshore LNG plant in the Philippines. The consultant will play a key role in supervising field execution and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Location
- Philippines and Malaysia Office
- Majority of time will be at wellsite (Philippines)
- 2–3 months
- Supervise and lead the Pigging and Pipe cleaning Job in Philippines
- Review the job procedure, program, and all risk matrix as per HAZOP finding
- Involved on operation and give technical feedback/recommendation/troubleshooting
- Deliver flawless operation (no HSE and SQ issue) and work as focal person for technical matter to client
- Pigging of 24" Methane Import Line Using Gel Pig
- Pipeline sizing – 24"
- Length – Est. 1.5 km
- Onshore – Onshore LNG Plant
- Stations – 1 station (only 24" line require pigging operations)
- 4ea 24" Pig Canister c/w Gel Pig premix inside
- 1ea 24" Pig Receiver
- Gel Pig will be pushed using Nitrogen
- No liquid is allowed in the pipeline
- Pig – No caliper survey or real time monitoring of the location
- Consultant will be required to be at wellsite for operational execution
- Occasional presence at the client's Malaysia Office for preparation/coordination
- Role requires acting as focal person for all technical matters with the client
- Strong emphasis on delivering operations with no HSE and SQ issues
