Planner / Scheduler

Our client a Global Energy Operator in Perth CBD is currently seeking a Planner / Scheduler join them until December 2027.
We are seeking a Planner / Scheduler to coordinate training and site exposure opportunities for Perth based personnel supporting Gorgon and Wheatstone Operations. This role ensures training and competency development activities are aligned with operational priorities, 90-day plans, and CMS requirements, while minimising impact to critical operations.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and schedule site exposure and training activities aligned with Gorgon and Wheatstone 90-day plans.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Laboratory leaders to align individuals to the right teams, shifts and mentors.
• Use CMS training profiles and planning tools (e.g. Prometheus) to build and maintain accurate training schedules
• Coordinate with participants to confirm availability and attendance.
• Liaise with site-based planners, leaders and internal and external training providers to confirm timing and locations of activities.
• Monitor training progress and compliance using reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) and provide regular updates to BCP leadership.
• Identify training and competency risks and work with stakeholders to implement mitigations.
• Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate travel requirements.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• 5 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination within an operational (maintenance or production) environment.
• Exposure to the resource industry (oil & gas, LNG, mining or similar)
• Experience coordinating operational activities.
• Capability using planning and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6 or equivalent).
• Experience to training compliance systems or reporting (desirable).
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
