The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to support successful execution of turnkey projects. This role ensures accurate planning, cost control alignment, and compliance with global standards while collaborating closely with project managers, functional cost owners, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities Planning & Scheduling
- Build tender schedules and cost estimates for new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools.
- Create project budgets within cost and schedule systems and ensure alignment with “as-sold” baselines.
- Maintain schedule and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze schedule and cost trends, providing accurate forecasts to the project team.
- Maintain registers for schedule risks, cost risks, and committed/actual costs.
- Conduct schedule quality checks and ensure compliance with global planning standards.
- Lead or support schedule planning meetings and oversee the planning function on assigned projects.
- Monitor cost movements and validate accuracy against scope, progress, and productivity factors.
- Provide internal and external reporting on schedule status, cost forecasts, and risk exposure.
- Support change order calculations and ensure cost/schedule impacts are accurately reflected in systems.
- Collaborate with finance to reconcile project financial data with approved budgets.
- Support project closeout, claims, and documentation requirements.
- Lead and mentor project cost control analysts on larger projects.
- Work closely with project managers, functional cost owners, and third parties to optimize cost and schedule performance.
- Present financial and schedule data transparently during project and management reviews.
- Ensure alignment with established standards (WBS, processes, procedures, and tool usage).
- Drive strategies to reduce cost and improve schedule performance.
- Comply with all quality procedures, work instructions, and project controls processes.
- Identify opportunities for standardization and optimization; participate in improvement initiatives.
- Report or resolve non‑conformances in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety through active participation in discussions and adherence to safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety instructions and contribute to resolving safety issues.
- Initiate improvements to health and safety where needed.

- Degree in Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years planning large turnkey projects.
- Experience providing cost control on at least two large turnkey projects.
- Lead planner experience on two or more turnkey projects.
- Knowledge of cost control and forensic schedule analysis on complex projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and SAP (required).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Experience with MS Project and Excel.
- Experience in the electrification industry.
- French and English language skills.
