The Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for:
Client management

Client management
- Optimized Client communication in projects execution
- Execute the Project in compliance with PPA requirements (e.g. Condition Precedent)
- Manage and hold regular progress meetings with Client
- Manage Site completion and acceptance on Commercial Operation (COD) with Client
- Optimize CAPEX in line with market benchmarks and local regulations.
- Manage EPC tenders, BOQ reviews, and contractor selection.
- Secure all engineering approvals prior to execution.
- Confirm structural and rooftop compliance prior to construction.
- Obtain internal contract approvals within budget.
- Manage EPC contracts including negotiations, budget control, and performance.
- Ensure contractor compliance with legislation and company HSE standards.
- Validate EPC performance bonds and guarantees.
- Review contractor execution methodologies.
- Manage EPC delays, LDs, and handover processes.
- Coordinate permitting and licensing with authorities.
- Manage EPC budgets and prevent cost overruns.
- Ensure complete as-built documentation prior to O&M; handover.
- Evaluate EPC contractors post-project.
- Conduct site inspections for safety and quality.
- Qualify and onboard new EPC contractors.
- Ensure site inspections for all projects, for safety on site and quality assessment
- Find new EPC contractors and ensure that all EPC contractors are qualified,
- Ensure full compliance with Company Technical & HSE referential and standards.
- Coordinate handover with local O&M team before project completion
- Ensure full Project handover documentation, PR tests and as-built PV syst are provided on time
- Facilitate O&M team for troubleshooting operational issues during defects liability period of EPC contractor.
- Engage with Engineering Center and ensure the designs are all optimized with the actual site conditions
- Anticipate and act for all potential challenges in Project execution
- Ensure projects are covered by active insurance, as per company standards
- Manage all projects in full compliance with HSE and technical specifications per company requirements
- Ensure all projects related permits, approval from the concerned authorities on time for construction, commissioning and start of operations
- Update and manage all activities through the company projects management tools
- Interact with teams at APAC Hub/ HQ to share best practices, and improve country projects execution efficiency
- Ensure active capex reduction
- Ensure efficient internal Hand Over: Sales to PM, PM to O&M
- Coordinate with Finance accounting, procurement & O&M teams on invoice issuance, COD, COC
- Act as a strong, collaborative member of the regional PM Team leads team and in the country team
- Support country Project Managers and actively contribute to their ongoing coaching and capability development
- Manage recruitment of projects managers, their onboarding and team performance evaluation
- Holds an engineering degree (mechanical or electrical), preferably a master in energy or related field
- Min. 10 years of experience in rooftop solar projects execution.
- Proven track record and experience of project lifecycle from bidding to operations.
- Rigor, zero compromise with HSE deviation and holds work at height certificate
- Strong analytical skills and Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle complex situations and work under pressure
- Organized, proven autonomy, ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives
- Ability to travel as assigned.
- Knowledge of engineering and solar specific softwares (Helioscope, Meteonorm, PVSyst) is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
- Leadership experience in managing a diverse team.
