NES Fircroft are supporting our valued client, Woodside Energy, who are seeking a Process Engineer to support their Offshore NWS assets on an initial 12-month contract. This is a Perth office based position with adhoc site travel required.

About the Role

NWS Offshore are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. The Process Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplined team providing engineering support for the NRC, GWA and Angel offshore gas platforms to support safe, reliable, optimised, and efficient production.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the provision of process engineering support across the NWS offshore team; ensuring compliance with established standards, provision of technical advice and management of critical drawings.
  • Coordination of periodic facility PSRA (HAZOP / LOPA) reviews and managing resultant action closeout.
  • Liaise with external contractors as needed to progress outsourced technical scope.
  • Raise and progress MOCs to manage technical change.
  • Ensure conformance with WMS, Engineering Standards and Specifications.
  • Drive HSEQ performance, process safety and integrity management throughout scope delivery.
  • Ensuring robust and ‘fit for purpose’ governance, verification, validation and assurance for all scope elements. 
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement in ways of working 
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting operations in the O&G industry. Prior experience in Woodside operational facilities preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to liaise and work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset.
  • ‘PSM Knowledge’ level desirable
  • Process TIC desirable
